- Year 1116
- Due to the destroyed grain in the previous year, Valgard has to buy seed from Halberg to offset the seed lost in the grain famine.
- Year 1115
- The Grain Famine of the Drasill Grasslands, resulted in a destroyed cereal crop for the Alfarians, though they were not the only ones to feel it's effects. The Breton's similarly suffered when the unforgiving temperatures and dry conditions sparked a brush fire that led to the death of several herds.
- Year 1112
- Telrae'dor fashion shifts to mimic Alfarian fashion for the first time in two hundred years, this generates a great deal of frustration on part of the Alfarian who feel mocked, and further strains politically discussion.
- Year 1111
- Telrae'dor begins to tax the roads leading to the Citadel. Effectively concentrating their efforts on monetary extraction from Jarnfell and Valgard.
- Year 1109
- Halberg bans the recently adopted fashion of codpeices within their city walls, and Arcovia follows.
- Year 1107
- Jarnfell raiding party goes too far and kills a high-standing Alfarian Jarl's child, the Jarl, holding great political sway launches a blood feud that goes up to the Royal Courts.
- Year 1098
- Devastating Avalanche which prompted a treaty between Valgard and Jarnfell.
- Year 1081
- Conflict erupts between Telrae'dor and Jarnfell in the Islinglam Valley as Telrae'dor makes a grab for the fertile grasslands and cereal crops.
- Year 1075
- Hill at the top of Cyning Fjord (lies between Jarnfell and Valgard) was a equally sore point to both sides. The ownership often changing depending on who you ask. It is site of the Holy Tree, Yggdrasil for the Alfarians and Irminsul for the Bretons and fanatics on both sides use it as a point of contention.
- After much abuse to the chosen Dryling diplomat, the Bretons prematurely trick the Telrae'dor out of his position.
- Year 1068
- The fifteen year war ends when Arjat enters the fray on the side of the north, forcing everyone to table to negotiate peace.
- Year 1061
- Failed Political Marriage between Valgard and Jarnfell, The King of Valgard was to marry King Ecgfirth of Jarnfell's daughter, Banu. However upon the Valgardian ruler learning of certain behaviors by his intended (think Elizabeth Bathory), he rejected the match and took for his bride an Alfarian woman. This launched one of the worst bloodletting in Essealas History and with no decisive victor.
- Jarnfell suffered a low yield of ore, with most going to the very Alfarian's they were fighting. As a result they turned to the Drylings for assistance, being the closest neighbor, next to the genial Frem. King Ecgfirth bit his tongue and worked out an agreement, a diplomat to sit on the Breton's small council for no less than a sixteen year timespan and in exchange they were provided the necessary finances in order to wage their war.
- Year 1059
- During a bad crop year, the rye crop contracted ergot. Due to the needed delivery of iron ore, the grain merchants delivered bad grain to Jarnfell rather then fail to keep up their end of the grain delivery. Ergot caused wide spread issues in both Jarnfell and Valgard as ergot causes both hallucinogens and miscarriages. After a lot of shouting and threats, cooler heads prevailed and a revised treaty allowed for a larger supply of grain to Jarnfell with the understanding they would stock pile grain against normal yearly shortages. No matter what the reason, the grain-ore treaty is one of the few ways in which Jarnfell and Valgard remain allied.
- Year 1053
- A fifteen year war between begins; Jarnfell, Valgard and Rusavik on one side vs Telrae'dor, Albion and Tiberia.
